Another view from a slightly different angle. I've also added in some supports to the roof trusses.

All the artwork in this gallery is stuff that I've got from the web over time so big thanks to all the artists who have helped to fill the walls.

After spending so much time working on architectural projects I thought I'd do something completely different, hence this model. It wasn't inspired by anything in particular although now its finished there is something rather dinosaur-esque about it.
I wanted to do something that was fresh, white and contemporary looking as my other interiors are more traditional.

My love of Victorian architecture was the inspiration behind this model. I went for a walk round the neighbourhood taking photos and used these to create the image above.
This model was created using the working drawings of a house that had been designed at my last place of work. The development was to surround a large 1890's hospital hence the Victorian styling.

A slight departure from my usual 'traditional' buildings. I'm not a fan of 60's concrete but I saw a photo of an office block and wanted to recreate it and give it a suitably moody feel.

This is a model of Rayne Primary School, Essex, which I did when I was working at WPP Architects. And here is a snapshot of the finished building...

The living/dining room of an apartment in a converted warehouse. And below is the bedroom.

The floorplan of the apartment mentioned above.

I based the above image on a photograph of a wooden model I made when I was at uni of a site in Ancoats, Manchester. I was curious to see if I could model it in Sketchup and retain the feel of a wooden model. I think it came out quite well.
